MOVE WITH EASE
I teach a style of Yoga based on the extraordinary insights of Vanda Scaravelli, particularly her discovery that when one's body is aligned with gravity, the breath naturally flows along the spine like a wave, awakening and elongating the spine.
Emphasis is placed on flowing integrative movements for the body and nervous system. Yoga Asanas are practised with gravity (never against it) and I encourage students to connect with their body and develop more kinaesthetic awareness. At the same time time core strength is integrated into all postures and flexibility and balance enhanced.
